Mathematics enrichment. Delivered to your classroom. Every week.
NHUSTA Programme Facilitation brings culturally relevant, game-based Mathematics sessions directly into partner schools led by trained NHUSTA facilitators, every week.
Learning beyond the classroom.
NHUSTA Programme Facilitation is a school-based Mathematics enrichment programme that brings learning directly into the classroom through culturally relevant, game-based experiences.
Our facilitators visit partner schools every week to deliver interactive Mathematics sessions that combine board games, storytelling, collaboration, problem-solving, and digital learning.
Rather than increasing teachers' workloads, NHUSTA provides additional classroom support while creating an engaging learning environment for learners.
Four pillars. One weekly visit.
Weekly school visits
NHUSTA facilitators visit schools once a week to deliver structured Mathematics sessions aligned with the South African curriculum.
Interactive board game sessions
Learners work individually and in teams to solve Mathematics challenges through interactive board games designed to improve understanding, confidence, and participation.
Digital learning and progress tracking
Learner performance is captured through the NHUSTA digital platform, allowing facilitators and schools to monitor participation, identify learning gaps, and measure progress over time.
Curriculum-aligned learning
All activities are designed to support curriculum outcomes while connecting Mathematics to learners' everyday experiences and cultural contexts.
Designed to support teachers, not replace them.

"Learning does not begin with a textbook. Learning begins at home, within communities, and through everyday experiences."
At NHUSTA, we believe that learning does not begin with a textbook. Learning begins at home, within communities, and through everyday experiences. By combining culture, play, and technology, we are transforming the way South African learners experience Mathematics.
Bring NHUSTA to your school.
We are actively partnering with schools across South Africa. If you are a school principal, HOD, or district official interested in the NHUSTA Programme, we would love to hear from you.
